VISSERVISSION is back for a second season!

The start of the new year has brought a lot of new things for me. New contests, new spots to ride, new sponsors, and a second season of my webisode series called VISSERVISSION. It is a lot different and personally I think very improved.

In 2011 I am stoked to be riding with Division 26 clothing, Norco bikes, The bike works, GoPro, THE, ITS, Ex drinks, and woodward west. A huge thanks goes out to them and I plan to do my best to support them this year and hopefully beyond! I have a pretty full contest schedule this year and am super excited for it, see you all out there!!

Been a while since I’ve made a post so I thought it would be a good time. News as of late is that Tony and I got a POD on pinkbike! We were both very excited to get it and plan to do a lot more photo work in the future!

BAM! The NFC flip is the POD and the other is one of my first downside whips and another dialed picture from Tony!

Also I rode a contest that went okay.. I didn’t ride to good but still managed to get fourth place. Also I’ve put out quite a few more VISSERVISSIONS so check these out!

New hardtail frame!

I’m in a cast right now and am not riding so I decided it would be a good time to get my new 2010 250 frame all built up! I did and I can honestly say it is the best looking hardtail frame that I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to get my cast off and ride it!!! I have officially launched my webisode series called VISSERVISSION and I am very please with the first two!!!

Broken thumb

Well I have been battling a broken thumb for a while now but yesterday I went on a downhill ride with one of my buddies on a new trail. It felt so good to ride again and my thumb felt pretty good. I’m still going to take it easy for a while, until my thumb is pretty much 100% but it definitely felt good to ride!!! In the meantime I have been doing a lot of work on my jumps and stuff and I am stoked to say that my new jump set is complete! I can’t wait to try it out!

Woodward West!!!

Had a super fun trip to Woodward west with Jacob Hyde and Jack Fogelquist! There was some epic weather while we were there like snow on the second day!!! As for riding it was great and we all pulled stuff we were stoked on!! Cob pulled some of the most dumped 3’s I’ve ever seen and he was working on getting his NFC’s dialed in! He has great style and was killing all the quarters and bowls that the hanger has to offer!!! Jack had a dialed trip as well minus one speed bump at the beginning when his fork snapped in half!!! Luckily he had his short travel bike with him so he killed it on that the rest of the time!!! He nailed some super cool 1 foot x ups to barspins and so 180 whips on the vert ramp ressi. He also nailed a dialed tailwhip transfer and some NFC flips!!! I was stoked on the trip as I came out of it with a double backflip on the ressi and also my first tailwhips to pedals!!! It was a great trip and I can’t wait to go back to Woodward with them again!!

I should have some new videos and pictures coming out soon but the computer has been giving me some problems lately… So only time will tell!

Well my dirtjumps are coming along very well so far so I’m stoked on that! I recently got a new video camera the Sony HDR-SR1 and I am extremely happy with it so far!!!

Be prepared to see a whole bunch of videos from that and a new webisode series coming from me! I am not 100% sure on what to call it but I am currently leaning towards “Inverted”! Please help me think of a good name!!! The first episode will be taking place at woodward west! You wont want to miss it!

Building, building, building

After having a pretty bad crash this Saturday and being super sore, and since we have had rain lately, I decided to start my rebuild plan that I’ve been wanting to do for quite sometime. I first started by taking all the original jumps out and then one by one rebuilding the jumps. So far I am very please with the work I have gotten done and I am hoping to have them done by the end of this weekend!!

2010 update!

2010 is shaping up to be an awesome year thus far and has already held some super sick sessions! Recently I posted my best of 2009 video which I am super stoked on!!!

I have already begun to film for a new segment that I’m hoping to have out in no more than two months and I am hoping that it will be my best video yet! So keep looking for that!!

In the meantime yesterday I went to my buddy Dannys house which is easily one of my favorite places to ride! The jumps are super flowy and fun and are great to get comfortable with tricks on!! We had a session there yesterday and we took some video for my new segment which turned out really good, as well as a bunch of pictures of everyone at the session!!

If you notice Jon and Joe have some super slick “proto type” visors on their helmets to provide shade from the sun so look for those in the future!!!

Its been a great year and mountain biking has come sooo far this year! Some stuff that 3 years ago most of us would have thought impossible is now being done with ease! Also on a personal not I have come soooo far in just 12 short months I can’t even believe it! A big thanks goes out to the fans I have gained on the internet and at the local skateparks and dirtjumps! I would like to thank all my sponsors as well The bike works, Division 26 clothing, and Norco bikes. They all have been a massive help and I will be with all of them for 2010!

On another note my friend Nicole came over the other day with her new camera to take some pictures of me riding! She got some super dialed shots and then my brother whipped out his dirtbike! So we came up with the idea to try to time it so we would both be in the air at the same time and we got some super sick shots! check um out!

Well Christmas is all said and done and it was a ton of fun! I got NWD’s 1-5 so now I have them all except for 7!!! I also received a Tri-pod and a new digital camera! (as well as some other stuff!) Hope you all had a merry Christmas and have an excellent new year!
